재활용 하면 되지 않냐고요?
분리배출된 플라스틱은 보통 선별장에서 PET, PE, PP 등 세부 재질과 종류에 따라 나누어지고 그 결과에 따라 재활용이 이루어지게 돼요. 그런데 너무 작은 플라스틱은 이 선별 공정에서 분리되기가 어려워 재활용이 될 수 없어요.
그럼 어떡하죠?
플라스틱 방앗간은 곡물을 가공해서 식재료로 만드는 방앗간처럼 작은 플라스틱 쓰레기를 분쇄해 새로운 제품의 원료로 사용해요. 재활용이 안되는 플라스틱 쓰레기도 감소하고, 업사이클링 제품도 만들 수 있죠.
